Requirements
What you need before getting started with GolfCartOps, including browser support and business details.
Before you start using GolfCartOps, make sure you have everything you need for a smooth setup.
Browser Support
GolfCartOps works in all modern web browsers. We recommend using the latest version of:
- Google Chrome (recommended)
- Safari (macOS and iOS)
- Microsoft Edge
- Firefox
The driver mobile view is optimized for smartphones running iOS 15+ or Android 12+.
Business Details You Will Need
Have the following information ready when you create your account:
- Business name and contact information
- Location addresses for each rental shop or kiosk
- Operating hours for each location
- Fleet inventory -- how many carts, what types (4-seater, 6-seater, street-legal, etc.)
- Pricing -- your daily, weekly, and hourly rates
- Tax rates applicable to your locations
Stripe Account
GolfCartOps uses Stripe to process customer payments. You will need:
- A Stripe account (free to create at stripe.com)
- Your bank account details for receiving payouts
- A valid government-issued ID for Stripe verification
You can set up Stripe during onboarding or add it later from Settings. Until Stripe is connected, you can still manage bookings and fleet -- you just cannot accept online payments.
Optional Integrations
These are not required to get started but unlock additional features:
- Google Maps API key -- Enables interactive maps for delivery zones, driver tracking, and route planning
- Twilio account -- Enables SMS notifications for delivery ETAs and booking reminders
- GPS tracking provider -- Connect Zubie or compatible GPS devices for real-time fleet tracking
Internet Connection
GolfCartOps is a cloud-based platform. You need a reliable internet connection to access the dashboard. The public booking page and delivery tracking pages are optimized for mobile networks.
