Quick Start
Get your GolfCartOps account up and running in minutes. Add your first location, fleet, pricing, and share your booking link.
Follow these five steps to go from sign-up to accepting your first online booking.
Step 1: Sign Up and Create Your Business
- Visit the GolfCartOps sign-up page and create your account with your email and password
- Enter your business name -- this becomes your organization in the system
- You will land on the main dashboard after completing sign-up
Step 2: Add Your First Location
- Click Locations in the sidebar
- Click Add Location and fill in your details:
- Location name (e.g., "Main Street Shop" or "Resort Kiosk")
- Full address
- Phone number and email
- Timezone and operating hours
- Save the location -- it appears in your location selector at the top of the dashboard
Tip: If you operate from a single location, you only need one. You can always add more later.
Step 3: Build Your Fleet
- Navigate to Fleet in the sidebar
- First, create your asset types (e.g., "4-Seater Standard", "6-Seater Premium", "Street Legal LSV"). Each type defines the category, default seating capacity, and base daily rate.
- Then click Add Cart to register individual carts. Enter:
- A name or identifier (e.g., "Sunset Cruiser")
- The asset type
- Year, color, and license plate (if applicable)
- Repeat for each cart in your fleet
Tip: You can also set up add-ons like rain covers, Bluetooth speakers, or child seats from the Fleet section.
Step 4: Set Your Pricing
- Go to Pricing in the sidebar
- Your base rates carry over from the asset types you created
- Add pricing rules to fine-tune:
- Weekend premiums -- charge more on Friday through Sunday
- Seasonal rates -- higher prices during peak tourist season
- Length-of-stay discounts -- offer 10% off for weekly rentals
- Tax rates -- configure applicable sales tax for each location
Step 5: Share Your Booking Link
- Go to Settings and find your public booking URL
- Your booking page lives at a unique link like
book.golfcartops.com/your-business - Share this link on your website, Google Business listing, social media, and printed materials
- Customers can browse available carts, select dates, choose add-ons, and pay online
What to Do Next
- Connect Stripe in Settings to start accepting payments
- Invite your staff from the Members page and assign them to locations
- Set up delivery zones if you offer cart delivery
- Explore the dashboard to see real-time stats on your fleet and bookings
