Quick Start

Get your GolfCartOps account up and running in minutes. Add your first location, fleet, pricing, and share your booking link.

Follow these five steps to go from sign-up to accepting your first online booking.

Step 1: Sign Up and Create Your Business

  1. Visit the GolfCartOps sign-up page and create your account with your email and password
  2. Enter your business name -- this becomes your organization in the system
  3. You will land on the main dashboard after completing sign-up

Step 2: Add Your First Location

  1. Click Locations in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Location and fill in your details:
    • Location name (e.g., "Main Street Shop" or "Resort Kiosk")
    • Full address
    • Phone number and email
    • Timezone and operating hours
  3. Save the location -- it appears in your location selector at the top of the dashboard

Tip: If you operate from a single location, you only need one. You can always add more later.

Step 3: Build Your Fleet

  1. Navigate to Fleet in the sidebar
  2. First, create your asset types (e.g., "4-Seater Standard", "6-Seater Premium", "Street Legal LSV"). Each type defines the category, default seating capacity, and base daily rate.
  3. Then click Add Cart to register individual carts. Enter:
    • A name or identifier (e.g., "Sunset Cruiser")
    • The asset type
    • Year, color, and license plate (if applicable)
  4. Repeat for each cart in your fleet

Tip: You can also set up add-ons like rain covers, Bluetooth speakers, or child seats from the Fleet section.

Step 4: Set Your Pricing

  1. Go to Pricing in the sidebar
  2. Your base rates carry over from the asset types you created
  3. Add pricing rules to fine-tune:
    • Weekend premiums -- charge more on Friday through Sunday
    • Seasonal rates -- higher prices during peak tourist season
    • Length-of-stay discounts -- offer 10% off for weekly rentals
    • Tax rates -- configure applicable sales tax for each location
  1. Go to Settings and find your public booking URL
  2. Your booking page lives at a unique link like book.golfcartops.com/your-business
  3. Share this link on your website, Google Business listing, social media, and printed materials
  4. Customers can browse available carts, select dates, choose add-ons, and pay online
